Creating web pages

Roxer is an amazingly easy-to-use site that lets you create web pages almost instantly, without the need for an e-mail account. There is a very user-friendly tutorial to click through, and then you're ready to upload images and create text. See Mrs. Friedman's blog at right to check out some student-made samples.

Tag Galaxy

Tag Galaxy is an image bank that allows you to browse through Flickr by topic. You simply type in a topic and a "galaxy" appears, in which each "planet" offers images related to the topic you entered. If you click on an individual image, you can either use it for your purposes or go back to Flickr and explore further. This tool can save you considerable amounts of time in searching for images.
